Migrating from Lattice to Confirm
What transfers, what changes, how long it takes, and what you gain when you move from Lattice's add-on pricing and form-based AI to Confirm's ONA-powered performance intelligence.
Why teams migrate off Lattice
These are the three signals we hear most from HR leaders before they start a migration conversation:
Add-on pricing that compounds
Lattice starts at $11/user/month — just reviews and goals. Engagement surveys, career development, compensation planning are each separate line items. By the time you have feature parity with Confirm, you're at $25+/user. For a 500-person company, that gap is $80,000/year.
AI that only reads what people type
Lattice AI Agent is genuinely useful for summarizing forms and writing reviews faster. What it can't do: see collaboration patterns, detect early retention risk from behavioral signals, or coach managers proactively. It's working from text. Confirm works from behavior.
No visibility into how people actually work
Lattice shows you what gets typed into forms. Confirm adds Organizational Network Analysis — revealing who really drives results, who's about to disengage, and who's holding teams together invisibly. That's not available in Lattice at any price.
What transfers from Lattice
Everything you've built in Lattice comes with you. Nothing gets left behind.
Historical review cycles
All past performance reviews, ratings, and written feedback export cleanly. Full history preserved in Confirm.
Goals and OKRs
Goal history, completion data, alignment structure, and active OKRs all migrate. Teams pick up where they left off.
Employee profiles and org data
All employee records, reporting relationships, and org structure transfer. Syncs with your HRIS going forward.
Competency frameworks
Custom competencies, career ladders, and rating scales you've built in Lattice can be recreated or imported in Confirm.
1:1 notes and feedback
Manager-employee notes, continuous feedback threads, and check-in history all export and import cleanly.
Engagement survey history
Historical survey responses and scores migrate for benchmark continuity. New surveys run natively in Confirm.
How the Lattice migration works
We've migrated dozens of teams off Lattice. Here's the exact process:
Data audit & Lattice export
We review your Lattice configuration — review cycles, competencies, integrations, custom fields. Then we guide your admin through the full data export. Lattice exports are straightforward but have known quirks we handle for you.
Confirm setup & data import
We configure your review cycles, competency frameworks, and org structure in Confirm. Your HRIS integrates (Workday, Rippling, BambooHR, Deel, ADP — all supported). Historical data imports and gets validated. ONA data collection goes live.
Manager training & change management
We train your HR team and managers on Confirm's interface, how to read ONA dashboards, and how the AI coaching works. We provide communication templates for your company announcement. Average manager training time: 45 minutes.
Go live with full support
Company-wide launch. Your migration rep is available throughout launch week and your first review cycle. Most teams see 90%+ adoption in week one. We track completion rates and surface any adoption issues before they become problems.
What's different in Confirm vs. Lattice
The workflows are similar. The data layer is completely different.
Form-based review cycles with customizable templates. Review summaries can be AI-drafted. Rating calibration done in spreadsheets or Lattice Calibration module (add-on).
Same review cycle structure, but calibration surfaces ONA data alongside ratings. Managers see behavioral evidence for every rating — not just what the reviewee wrote about themselves.
Manager 1:1 templates, goal check-ins, and feedback prompts. Lattice AI can summarize conversations and suggest talking points at review time.
AI coaching in Slack/Teams, proactively. Manager gets nudged when a team member's collaboration pattern changes — before it shows up in a survey. Real-time, not retrospective.
Engagement surveys flag disengagement. By the time a survey shows low engagement, the mental exit has usually already happened. Reactive by design.
ONA detects collaboration withdrawal weeks before disengagement surfaces in a survey. HR sees risk while there's still time to intervene — typically 6-8 weeks earlier.
$11/user base + $4 surveys + $4 career development + $6 compensation. Add-ons required to match full functionality.
One all-in price. ONA, AI coaching, reviews, goals, surveys, compensation, career — all included. No add-on surprises at renewal.
Migration questions answered
How long does the Lattice migration take?
Most teams complete the migration in 4-6 weeks. The timeline depends on your data volume, HRIS integration complexity, and review cycle timing. We work around your schedule — many teams migrate at contract renewal to avoid overlap costs.
What happens to our Lattice data?
All of it comes with you. Historical reviews, goals, feedback, and employee records export and import cleanly. We handle the transformation so data arrives in Confirm in the right format. Nothing gets left behind.
Can we run Lattice and Confirm at the same time?
Yes. Many teams run a pilot with one department in Confirm before migrating fully. Parallel operation is fine during evaluation. We just ask you don't run two active review cycles for the same people simultaneously.
What if we're mid-review-cycle in Lattice?
We recommend completing your current cycle in Lattice, then migrating before the next one launches. If timing requires an in-flight migration, we've handled that too — it adds about a week to the timeline.
Do our managers have to relearn everything?
Confirm's review workflow is familiar — same basic structure as Lattice. The additions (ONA dashboard, AI coaching nudges) are additive, not replacements. Most managers say Confirm is simpler than Lattice after 30 minutes of training.
What about our Lattice contract?
We can't break your contract, but we can help you time the migration to minimize overlap costs. Many teams migrate at renewal. Some negotiate early exits when savings offset the fee. Talk to us about timing and we'll help you think through it.

Book a 30-minute call with our migration team. We'll review your Lattice setup, estimate your migration timeline, and tell you honestly what to expect — including what won't transfer perfectly.
No pressure. If your contract runs 6 more months, we'll help you plan for renewal — not push you to break it.
